Wendy Shen, President and CEO of FLOMO/NYGALA CORP. (www.flomousa.com), went from a one-woman shop to a Disney deal to building a multimillion dollar global business. She offers products for “everything you need to celebrate” as well as business services like global sourcing and third-party logistics/supply chain management.
Wendy champions women’s leadership and youth empowerment, uplifting women entrepreneurs and inspiring future generations – driven by the values instilled by her parents.

It is named for Gail Adinamis, founder of GlobalCare Clinical Trials, LLC, a leading global provider of ambulant health care services for clinical trials. Rubber vs. Plastic: PVC-Free ECO Erasers
Did you know that a lot of erasers on the market today are made from plastic? Many contain PVC, a type of plastic known as polyvinyl chloride. According to NonToxU, the first erasers were made from natural latex rubber from the Hevea brasiliensis tree and later mixed with additives to make them more shelf stable, starting back in 1839. Since then many new products have been introduced to the market.
According to Citizen Sustainable, the production of plastic erasers can have significant negative impacts on the environment and global warming as the raw materials are heavily mined. “Approximately 4.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions are from plastic production.” Additionally, since PVC plastic is not renewable, it is tapping into these limited resources and creating plastic particle waste as the erasers are used and breaking down into microplastics. Unlike pure rubber which is biodegradable, PVC erasers are not recyclable or reusable since the combined materials to create them are difficult to separate.
On the wellness side, PVC can contain phthalates and heavy metals, which raises additional concerns for individuals using those types of erasers. Through the process of creating PVC items, additional chemicals and compounds can be added to enhance shelf life stability and more. Eco-friendly eraser alternatives are a healthier choice for kids and school projects.
In 2010, FLOMO introduced their non-toxic eco erasers as part of the mission to provide safe products and expand offerings in a sustainable and ethical manner. The erasers were developed using only latex-free and PVC-free materials, to create a product that is environmentally friendly and safe for consumers. In fact, the eco erasers are made from TPE or thermoplastic elastomer which is latex-free and made from non-toxic recyclable plastics. TPE also uses less energy during the manufacturing process than other materials because of a shorter processing time. You can read more about our erasers here.
As a company, under the “E” of ESG framework, we want to highlight our commitment to sustainability, responsible material sourcing and reducing our operational impacts. By creating new products that fall under these parameters and adjusting our existing product line, we are continuously working to improve.
At FLOMO we have a commitment to use only PVC-free products, where our non-toxic eco erasers are currently PVC-free and latex-free. In our facilities we will additionally implement non-toxic processes for products & packaging to create a more sustainable future.

FLOMO Educational Foundation is a foundation donated by Flomo Shen, the founder of FLOMO Co., Ltd., adhering to the mission of creating corporate value and enhancing the upward progress of society, and practicing its commitment to corporate social responsibility with practical actions.

The Foundation's mission: Caring for the underprivileged, promote education, protect the environment, and protect the future of Taiwanese children.
A. FLOMO Educational Foundation:
Since 2013, the Foundation has cooperated with 41 primary schools in Hunei District, Tainan City North District and Annan District of Kaohsiung City, and the Foundation has sent English teachers to teach primary schools in various districts, cultivating children's ability to stand on the international stage with lively and diversified English learning resources, benefiting more than 5,000 people.
B. Eco-friendly Erasers Gift Program:
In order to maintain the health of school children and reduce the damage of plasticizers in the environment, we show our commitment to sustainability and serving underrepresented populations through this program. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic erasers are given to the public for free every year, and a total of 20 million pieces are given away.
C. Promoting English:
English is one of the indispensable requirements in the face of a global competitive environment, and the Foundation has taken the first step to continue to promote Taiwan as a bilingual country ahead of government policies, implement English in life education, and enhance Taiwan's international competitiveness. Additionally, it supports the Tainan Municipal Government's efforts to promote English as a second official language by providing funds to do so and working with teacher training programs for the English Workshop and other English promotion initiatives.

Tainan FLOMO Education Foundation was established
★ Public Welfare★ Refuse to allow PVC on campus, and distributes millions of erasers
More than one million non-PVC [environmentally friendly and non-toxic erasers] were given to lower primary school children across the country for free, in addition to 20,000 FLOMO environmentally friendly non-toxic erasers were arranged into large dominoes prohibiting PVC, and they worked with children to knock down the dominoes and declare their determination to refuse toxic stationery from entering the campus.
★ Public Welfare★ exchange to wipe the earth, national campus tour action vehicle
It took half a year to tour more than 100 primary schools across the country, allowing children to take and use PVC-containing erasers, free exchange for environmentally friendly and non-toxic erasers. The activity was replaced by former Vice President Xiao Wanchang's wife as the spokesperson, a total of about 2 tons of PVC erasers, and also gave Taiwanese children a cleaner and more environmentally friendly learning space.

The FLOMO Academy headquarters in Xi-men Road, Tainan City, had students from 18 primary schools, and it also collaborated with about 40 primary schools in Kaohsiung City's North District, Annan District, and Hunei District, where classes were held close to the school's teaching points, and about 800 disadvantaged students learned English for free through the FLOMO Academy Program each year.

1 - Paint Your Own Ornaments Kit
About the Product:
This gift is the most festive and allows tweens to creatively decorate their own Christmas ornaments to hang on the tree and admire for years to come. The set includes ten different ornaments in the cutest holiday designs, like Santa, a snowflake, a Christmas tree, and a Christmas stocking.
It is a full DIY kit, which means it also provides tweens with a paintbrush and six paint pots in all of the basic colors they’d need to paint their ornaments. Everything they need in one easy-to-wrap box!
The Tween Review:
Our tween tester loved the variety of Christmas ornament shapes to choose from in this kit, as well as the fact that it comes with enough ornaments for her to keep some for her Christmas tree, and personalize some to give to her friends as Christmas gifts! The back of the ornaments provides the perfect place to write the date and who the ornament is for.
She also commented on how smooth the surfaces of the ornaments are, which makes for an ideal canvas for the paints. And speaking of the paints, she appreciated that they aren’t too runny or thin, and instead are the perfect thicker consistency to cover the ornaments in one coat. Lastly, the level of detail on the ornaments is just right. This memory-making kit is a win!
2 - Acrylic Paint Sets, Brushes, and Canvas
About the Product:
For the little Picassos out there who want a more open-ended painting experience, this acrylic paint set is perfect. Not only does this allow for a bit more imagination and creative expression, but there are tons of colors to choose from! Forty-eight to be exact: twenty-six basic colors, six fluorescent, eight metallic, and eight glitter colors. The paints are great on a multitude of materials, including paper, wood, or canvas. You can also get smaller paint sets, in the color of choice 10 pastels, 10 glitters, or 10 fluorescent as an add-on gift!
Speaking of canvas, don’t forget to include a couple in your gift, so your tween can get started right away! We are loving canvases in unique shapes - arches and rounds are particularly trendy in home decor, party decor, and design these days. This pack comes with two!

The Tween Review:
The handles of the paintbrushes were an immediate hit with our tween tester. She loved how the iridescent rainbow brushes reminded her of mermaids, and using the glitter brushes with glitter paint added to the fun. In her words, “You can never have too much glitter!”.
She was also thrilled by the number of colors included in this paint set. When asked whether she preferred regular, pastel, fluorescent, metallic, or glitter colors, she begrudgingly picked pastels…but was relieved by the fact that she doesn’t have to choose since this set has them all!
As expected, she enjoyed the uniqueness of the round canvases, which instantly inspired her to paint things like planets and landscapes.
3 - Gel Pens and Journal
About the Product:
Remember the gel pen boom of the late 90s and early 2000s? As nostalgic products become more and more popular, we are seeing an increase in the popularity of gel pens again, making this a terrific gift for the trendy tween. Not only are they beginning to dress in Y2K style, but they are also writing in it as well!
This set comes with a whopping sixty total quick-drying, medium-point pens in a variety of bold and bright colors. Pair it with a journal and let your tween express themselves in colors to match any and all moods (of which tweens often have many!).
The Tween Review:
From the moment she pulled them out of the gift wrap, our tween tester was excited by the beauty of the motivational journal cover, reminding her that she is “simply magical”. She also remarked on the vast variety of gel pen colors, as well as how vibrant they all are. None of those boring ink pen colors are here! This is all about allowing for creative expression.
After testing them out in the journal, she was impressed by how easily they write and contributed that to the well-flowing ink as well as the smoothness of the journal paper. When she was done, she appreciated being able to keep the journal closed with its included band (privacy, please!), and that she can keep all her pens organized and together in their convenient packaging.
4 - Marker Set and Sketchbook
About the Product:
If your tween is more of an artist than a writer, a great twist on the pen and journal tween gift idea is the marker set and sketchbook. This pack of twenty-four non-toxic, acid-free, quick-dry alcohol markers packs a double punch, in that they are dual-sided. One side features a chisel tip, which is great for thicker lines and coloring in larger areas, and the other is a fine tip - perfect for outlining and writing. The Tween Review:
What stood out most about the markers to our tween tester was how convenient the storage case is. She talked about how easy it would be to take the markers “on the go”, and use them anywhere, thanks to the clipboard top. No more losing your favorite colors or digging through a container trying to find the right one - every time she was done using a marker she replaced it into its helpful assigned slot and picked out the next one.
When it came to the sketchbook, she loved that it is hard-cover and spiral bound, yet the pages are easy to tear out, giving her the option of keeping her artwork safe in the sketchbook or removed to hang or gift to family and friends. The fact that it lays flat when open really made it easy to draw to her heart’s content without having to struggle to keep it open.
She also had to try using the clipboard and approved of its easy-to-use design and sleek surface.

The scissors - she mentioned that it was helpful to have a set handy to trim the pipe cleaners she needed to make her festive red and green mustache.

How to Set up a Holiday Gift Wrapping Party
'Tis the season for giving, and what better way to get into the spirit of things than by throwing a gift wrapping party? This unique holiday party idea is great for getting everyone in the festive mood and helping them get their holiday wrapping done at the same time. No more waiting until the last minute and stressing right before the holidays - throw a Christmas gift wrapping party to bring friends together, get creative, and get it done! Plus, it's a perfect chance to show off your wrapping skills. In this post, we'll give you some tips on how to set up your party and what party supplies you'll need - all of which you can get right here on FLOMO. Let's get started!

Set-Up
Holiday Backdrop
First, set the scene with a party backdrop. You can use any number of Christmas decorations for this, from balloons, to table covers on the wall, to garlands. The idea is to create a focal point for the party, as well as a place that’s perfect for photo ops. We decided to use paper garlands in a red-and-white color scheme and layered them on the wall above our gift wrap supply stations.
Underneath the paper garlands, we set up a table with gift-wrapping supplies in a vintage wooden “Reindeer Treats” container, which we wrapped with a winter greenery garland with red ornaments, and added some glitzy metallic bows to complete the look.
Don’t be afraid to let some of the Christmas gift-wrapping supplies do double-duty as party decorations! We placed an extra large Christmas gift bag in the center of the table that complemented our general red and white party color scheme, but also had some pops of blue and green to snake it extra festive.
Then, on either side of the table, we added large Christmas llama and die-cut Santa gift bags. Llamas and die-cut party supplies have both been pretty popular in the last few years, so including them in the party decorations makes the party feel particularly trendy! We propped one of the gift bags on assembled Christmas gift boxes for extra height and added some Christmas bows to the base of the other for extra sparkle.
Gift Wrap Supply Carts
On either side of the table, we set up supply carts with lots more Christmas gift-wrapping supplies. You can use smaller tables, but what we love most about the carts is that they roll. This makes it really easy to bring them over to the gift-wrapping table for easy access, and easy to share with whoever needs to replenish their supply at any given time.
We added some holiday cheer to the supply carts with a Christmas stocking, Santa hat, and red and white pom-pom garland. Bonus points if you wear the hat while you wrap!
On the cart, you’ll want to stock everything anyone might need to wrap all shapes and sizes of gifts. While an assortment of Christmas gift boxes are a must (we especially love these snow-filled ones to do double-duty as decoration), you’ll also want to think outside the box (literally!).
Holiday wrapping paper, gift bags, and tissue paper are staples, of course. But it’s also a great idea to provide your guests with cute Christmas-themed gift card holders and money holders, so they have options for any type of gift or recipient.
Adorable Christmas vehicle gift card boxes are a practical choice that also serve as décor for the carts!

Setting the table for this gift-wrapping party is pretty easy. You’ll want to keep it simple and not add too much décor, as guests will need the space for wrapping. Cover the table with a festive table cover, and create practical centerpieces by adding holiday pails of markers and other wrapping supplies. Guests will appreciate the convenience of having the essentials close by!
Finally, add some wine glasses or paper cups to your table for drinks, and let the Christmas gift wrapping party begin!

More than 140 boys and girls participated in this event at the clubhouse. They painted, drew, and created projects using our newly launched Arts and Crafts products.
The boys and girls aged range from 5 to 13 years old are energetic, creative, smart, and adorable. Their mission this time was to draw their favorite fictional or storybook characters.
They played with vibrant acrylic paints, glitter-and-neon gel pens, a wide variety of colorful markers, and lots of pom-poms, feathers, sprinkles, the googly eyes.
FLOMO believes that "Imagination and Creativity can change the world". We love our young generation to think and draw freely and creatively. We provided our new FLOMO Creative brand of art supplies, paints, markers, brushes, and crafting accessories to kids for this art contest.
